In today’s education reform era, student achievement is king. We want to see our kids succeeding. We want to see test scores rise. We want assurances our students are getting a top-notch education measure by results, and not by processes.  With our desire for student success – what can we do to help ensure that happens? The answer for me is simple – empower educators in the classroom to handle challenging situations and behaviors that occur on a daily basis. Making sure that our educators are equipped with the knowledge to get students FOCUSED on learning (and excited about it).  It is not a surprise that we lose more than 50% of all teachers within a 3-5 year time frame (they leave the profession). One of the TOP REASONS they leave is CHAOS IN THE CLASSROOM (and the feeling of no support – and they literally do not know what to do or how to handle behaviors that occur daily with students). To solve this problem teachers must be trained to know how to handle these challenges.
